SAN ANTONIO, Tx. - Over 1,200 members and advisers traveled to the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference on June 24-27, where they created such innovation from career development workshops, met with several members and leaders from across the nation with the Professional Division, engaged in historic Tex-Mex history amongst the city, and competed for national event awards, recognition, and scholarships. Based on our state's hard work at NLC, we'd like to recognize the following:
Madonna Duncan (Walla Walla Community College - Clarkston) - 1st place: Nonprofit Business Management Madonna Duncan (Walla Walla Community College - Clarkston) - 5th place: Computer Applications Alex Capi (University of Washington chapter) - 6th place: Job Interview Raina Davis (Walla Walla Community College - Clarkston) - 9th place: Administrative Technology Alex Capi (University of Washington chapter) - 10th place: Integrated Marketing Campaign During our Washington state chapter meeting, President Ryan Kussmann and Secretary Alex Capi presided to acknowledge our successes as well as giving their official farewell as state officers (Vice President Tiexiao Wang and Treasurer Jennifer Lara were not in attendance as they made completed their term of service prior to NLC). In addition, Washington State was nationally recognized for the following awards from the National Western Region meeting:

You've inspired millions of future and professional business leaders in Washington state and the rest of the world to develop soft skills, start their own corporate ventures, partner with local communities, and connect their aspirations and excellence into action. May you set sail in other directions, as you will always be loved and remembered by the FBLA-PBL community. To Our Washingtonians: The past several years has re-kindled our state chapter, and we appreciate every member and adviser who has made PBL possible throughout the Pacific Northwest. Several students across our local chapters stepped up to state leadership and promoted years change to develop programs that we participate in today. As we transition into A World of Opportunity, please do not hesitate to contact us to join PBL and get involved with us on the state level.
